Prayer Gathering:  This Saturday, August 9th, 8 a.m. at the church.

Marriage Ministry:  This Saturday August 9th, 7 p.m. we will meet at the Glyer's home for the "Growth" time of fellowship.

Church Fellowship Picnic: Sunday Aug. 10 th- 12:30 pm- Parnell Park, 15390 Lambert Rd. Whittier (Corner of Lambert - Scott - Mulberry). Bring your chairs, blankets, friends, family and let's have a fun time in fellowship!!!
 
Fun: Games for all ages & a wading pool at the park ~ Dessert bake-off - Bring your best dessert - everyone will vote for the winner.
Food: Each family will bring their own food for their family and guests.  Water, soft drinks, paper goods & B.B.Q. grill will be provided.
Fellowship: Happens when you are there!   

Nursery & Children’s Ministry: Beach Day—Mon. Aug. 11 th at Corona Del Mar—meet at the Davis’ home at 9 am—we will leave the beach at 3 pm. Financial Makeover Class: All are invited to the next meeting of the financial makeover class—Wed. Aug. 13th—7 pm at the church.

Harvest Crusade: Aug. 15—17 at Angel Stadium—there is still time to be involved with this great outreach or attend and bring someone who needs to know about the saving power of Jesus. Sat. & Sun. starts at 7 pm Sun. starts at 6 pm. See Madison or John for details.

Thursday Night: Join us this Thursday, 7 p.m. for Worship, prayer and for our final discussion of "The Jesus Style".  Be sure and review the last 4 chapters.
